Greek Key House Numbers: A New Collaboration in Ceramic Tile Address Design

Posted by Tarah Boyleston on

Architectural details matter — especially at the entry.

We’re proud to introduce a preview of our newest collection of Greek Key Portuguese Tile Numbers, created in collaboration with interior designer Katie Lindquist. This limited-edition series is watercolored by artist Shanna Masters. The artwork reimagines the timeless Greek Key motif as refined ceramic tile address numbers, designed to elevate the facade of the home.

A Timeless Pattern, Reimagined for the Modern Entry

The Greek Key pattern — known for its clean geometry and classical roots — has long appeared in architecture, interiors, and decorative arts. In this collaboration, the motif is translated into handcrafted ceramic tile, offering a fresh take on traditional house numbers.

Each piece functions as both an address marker and a design element, turning practical ceramic tile address numbers into an intentional architectural feature.

These tiles are especially suited for:

  • Historic renovations

  • Coastal homes with classical influence

  • Southern architecture

  • Transitional and European-inspired exteriors

  • New builds seeking architectural depth

Crafted in Heirloom Materials

The Greek Key collection is produced using the same materials and finishes as our signature, best selling terra-cotta house numbers, ensuring durability for exterior installation while maintaining artisanal texture and warmth.

Unlike standard metal or acrylic numbers, these ceramic tile address numbers offer dimension, pattern, and permanence — creating curb appeal that feels curated rather than applied. View our installation guide based on your home's surface here.

Where to See Them First

The collection will be available for private viewing at the Charleston by Design (March 12-15, 2026), offering designers and homeowners an early look at the craftsmanship and detailing.

About the Designer

Katie Lindquist is an interior designer and tastemaker based in Summit, New Jersey, and Charleston, South Carolina. She earned a B.A. in art history with an emphasis on interiors and a B.S. in finance from Lehigh University. Katie’s love of art and design led her to New York City, where she sharpened her eye in the fashion industry. A serendipitous role as the personal design assistant to a former Today style editor brought her back to the world of interiors, where she landed at the helm of luxury design and cultivated her flair for entertaining–all while taking seminars at The New York School of Interior Design. Mentored by these exceptional experiences, Katie founded her eponymous boutique interior design firm in 2022.

The daughter of Brits, Katie blends the wit and whimsy of the English country homes with the playful sophistication of her Manhattan training. Studying historic textile and interior finishing in Italy and Prague further honed her global perspective of art, antiques, and architecture. Her keen eye for art and antique curation inspires delightfully eclectic interiors, where effervescent color and pattern, a chic mix of modern and traditional, and a dash of nostalgia find joyful residence. Above all, Katie creates warm, livable homes where memories can be made.

After a decade living and working in Manhattan, Katie, her husband, and their three children now call Summit, New Jersey, and Charleston, South Carolina, home.
